Hello:
Does anyone have data on which HOAs are the biggest with the greatest population (not square miles)? Columbia, MD is a master association with about 100,000 residents and The Woodlands, TX has 93,847 residents. Are there any larger or in that range that you know of?
Thanks.

Did a quick search and couldn't find a "list"? we have about 5,800 properties, 25,000 members, and 7,000 acres:

I think we are among some of the largest in California? Our properties are about 20% full timers and 80% part timers. We have about 50 full time employees plus seasonal winter time employees. We have about an $8 Million annual expense and about a $6 Million income. details:

Sierra Verde Ranch in Yavapai County, Arizona, is at the large end of the scale in terms of area. Over 100 square miles of non-contigous property scattered over about 500 square miles. Population-wise, however, there are probably fewer than 200 full-time residents.

Check out The Villages in Central Florida. Exact population is hard to find, but it's probably between 65,000 and 75,000 homes for those that are 55+. I'm not sure that it's entirely built out yet.
