Currently, we have a Doorking Access Control System. We are looking to upgrade our system to a web based or PC based system that is stand alone from having to using a companies server. Also we are looking to incorprate automation if possible. Something similar to home automation.

Does anyone have this type of system or knows of any companies that offer the equipment/ software?

Thanks

We had an old doorking and went with a company called www.proptia.com and I think it’s called 2N or 3n or something and our residents can text codes or passes with one-time use codes, so far it’s been pretty good

You know exactly what it's called. You work for them.

For anyone else having this issue... Door King software can run on a web based PC with an RS232 network connector sold by Door King that plugs into the gate controller (RS232) and then into your Ethernet network that has the PC running Door King software/database. The Door King software can then communicate directly with the gate instead of using the Door King Server Subscription. You can remotely access the PC with many software options so that Property Managers, gate repair persons and board members can all have access to the PC as needed.
