Our HOA is currently operating on QuickBooks(Pro)and has been for the past 8 years. I am now hearing our Association wants to transition to Yardi. I'm not sure why but I would like to get opinions as to your Associations management/accounting application.

We have used TOPS for the past 15 years. It is totally safe . You may have heard that so an so Management Company got defrauded with TOPSfacts are in order TOPS comes in modules the general ledger should be only in 1 persons hands not where the management company that got robbed allowed 21 different people to acess teh General Ledger. The great part is tops is self checking. It handles violations, accts recieveable, accounts in collection wit 5 different ways to mark certain accounts it has a aged balances sheets 2 pages that show budgeted versus spentby the month an by the year on the same page.

I have built 15 budgets useing only a calculator an a June copy of the TOPS sheets an build my next years budget from that as sole source docs. In a total of 18 years with TOPS we have yet to go over budget an that includes building a clubhouse, 2 entrance monuments 12 miles of irrigation all mechanical no electronics what so ever an we mow all lawns front rear an sides of all owners as well as common ground with a 6 hour a day janitor 6 days a week. 12 hour a day security roving guard an a closed circuit security camera system recording 24/7 AT THE REC AREA...

AN PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WE ARE THE COMMUNITY YOU BUY YOUR FIRST HOME IN AND STAY 5 YEARS SELL BY THE NEW PRICE INCREASE AN MOVE ON TO BETTER LIVING ELSEWHERE
