Hi Everyone. I own a condo at a very nice beach resort where most owners rent their condo for a week at a time during summer. I've been a board member for about 8 years now.

Because so many of our 240 owners live out of state, I thought it would be nice to be able to broadcast the Gerneral Session of our BOD meetings for those who can't make it. The camera would be on BOD members only, not the audience. However, anyone watching might be able to hear a voice ask a question when the floor is open.

The problem is, while I know computers quite well, I know nothing of broadcasting. Is there software you may know of, or a site that offers such things?

My requirements are for one way video and audio, out. People not present in person should be able to post a question during open floor time, which would be monitored by me. I will read the question and the BOD member responsible would answer verbally for all to hear. And very important, I want to restrict the viewers to our owners only, either a password, or some secret login information only owners would know.

Can someone help point me in the right direction on how I can pull this off?

Thank you much!

Best regards,
Michael

Google - Web Meeting Software - and you will find a plethora of companies willing to sell the software or host the meetings for a fee.

I've used http://qik.com to do live streaming video from my mobile phone to the qik website. Kinda cool and free. Guess it could be used to do a live HOA meeting. Not sure what the delay would be.
