If a member asks the Board and only the Board to meet using California Internal Dispute Resolution Procedures, can they bring the Association's Attorney to the party. Is there any other mediation that can be used without the Attorney present?

Richard,

As it would be permissible for you to bring an attorney to help advise you, the Association may also bring an attorney to help advise them.

As I am not a lawyer, do not work in the legal profession or really know California law, you may also want to contact the following:

Dispute Resolution Office
Department of Consumer Affairs
1625 North Market Blvd., Suite S 309
Sacramento, CA 95834
(916) 574-8220

Hope this helps,

Tim
