covenant violation

In our homeowners association in Maryland we have a clear violation of a provision in our covenants. But our covenants do not contain specific enforcement provisions. Questions: What does Maryland law say about our options in enforcing the covenants? (e.g., I assume we can go to court?)2. What have other Maryland asociations done to enforce covenants when there is no specific enforcement language? Thanks, Jack
