I was just told by our management company that in the State of Florida there is no mandate to have a secret ballot for elections. If we were a condominium there is a secret ballot system available to homeowners, but not the HOA's.
Our proxy has the ballot printed at the bottom of the same page.
On another post I mentioned that our HOA tried to have a vote last Monday. It was cancelled because a homeonwner went to the meeting, asked for a ballot, was told that she had already sent in a proxy, she asked to see the proxey, her husbands signature had been forged.
During the new vote the proxies and the ballots will be on the same page.
Is there any part of the Florida goverment to control voting at HOA's???
