I am a former association president that is trying to help our pesent inactive officers get the HOA back on course. After months of working on the officers they are in agreement to reactivate the process. The problem is that for the past three months the Attorney we have been working with will not return anyones phone calls. He assured one of the officers that he was working on materials for our yearly meeting. It's time to find a new attorney and I am wondering if anyone out there can recommend one. We are in Salt Lake City.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

MikeR,

I'm not in Salt Lake, can't recommend an attorney. However, are you satisfied with the work of the existing attorney, what does his/her contract and services provide the association? Is it limited to preparation of materials for the annual meeting? If so, there may be nothing wrong with the existing attorney, (other than not returning phone calls which is par for the course) just that the responsibilities and therefore salary need to be increased in writing.

Best of success!!
