we have a bylaw that states that during reasonable business hours we can as member inspect the books. also if we want we can get copies of this. our board has refused to let us do this. any ideas on how to get them to let us inspect it according to our bylaws.
as anyone experienced this from there board.

You may be required to provide written notice of your request. However, you should do so via certified mail return receipt requested stating the time and date you will arrive to inspect and duplicate YOUR records. You should also advise them you will phone them in advance (sight date) to make sure the records are available for review prior to your visit.
