The Maryland Task Force on Common
Ownership Communities is holding a public hearing for input on issues
including:

* Assessments and collections
* Education of Unit Owners/Boards
* Alternative Dispute Resolution
* Aging Communities
* Re-sale Issues
* Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act (UCIOA)

The Task Force on Common Ownership Communities (COC) was created by the
General Assembly in 2005 to study various issues pertaining to common
ownership communities (condominiums, cooperative housing corporations,
and homeowners associations). The 23 members of the Task Force include
legislators, government officials, COC governing board officers, COC
residents, and persons who provide services to COCs. The General
Assembly has charged the Task Force with studying the issues listed
above. In addition to public hearings, the Task Force has established
an online discussion forum web page at http://www.condo-forum.com/ to
solicit comments from the public.

Just keeping the hoatalk.com community up to date on our proceedings.
