Can't locate anything in our Condo docs addressing this. This is Garden, 3 level Condo, where everyone has an outside entrance even though their space might only be on level 2 and 3, but not level 1. Owner is storing motorcycle on front porch (concrete) at the front door with 2 feet of the building. Don't most COAs consider this patio/porch a limited common element and restrict what can be stored on the porch? Also, doesn't the fire codes ususally dictate that you can't store a vehicle with gasoline withing 15 ft of the building? Any ideas?

Most places would consider the patio or porch to be a limited common element. But what matters is your documents. You can't cite someone for violating a common rule, only for violating your rule. I would read your covenants, your by-laws, and any rules and regulations including design guidelines.

I would not go down the gasoline route as if the motorcycle is staying there very long it is easy enough to drain the gas. And many motorcycles allow for quite easy removal of the entire tank. When I was a kid I could remove my tank in what seemed like no time at all.

And you store cars next to the house or inside a garage plus BBQ grills so the gas thing is not a good arguement.
