Homeowner association wisdom.

"Anyone who wants to be president of a homeowners association is, by definition, utterly unqualified.

"If you are diagnosed with an incurable disease, and have only one year to live, get yourself elected to a homeowners association board.
It will be the longest year of your life."

I've always said, anyone who wants to serve on an HOA board is a "glutton for punishment".
