**insert smiley face here** Thanks, MG. I know I wasn't totally in your corner on this one, but it truly wasn't personal. Not in the least. Just a difference of opinion. I'm glad you didn't hold it against me! If nothing else, consider it the "Devil's Advocate" position! |

Michelle, I can't remember how many times that we differd on opinions but it seems like several. It doesn't matter because you're still--one of my favorite posters to read and sometimes disagree with. |

Thanks! Ditto. I'll be the first to acknowledge that sometimes my reactions can be a little off-center; I will even be the first to admit that I can totally misread something and go off on some weird tangent. But I would certainly hope that everyone understands, it's not personal. I don't ever intend for my disagreements to ever shift into personal attacks (except towards clear trolls). And I don't take offense when someone disagrees with me, unless they get "personal" about it and attack me personally in the process. But, again, thanks! |

After I submitted my last post, I wished I had inserted a sad, embarrassed face, because I felt sad and embarrassed that I missed including your name in the thanks. Absolutely you (and others) haven't offended or upset me in any way. You may not have been in my corner, but with good reason. You (and others) had a very valid point. I've finally come around to acceptance (nobody said I have to LIKE it), and it would have taken me much longer to arrive at acceptance if I had not had the input from folks here. So, I'm now wiser because of the effort and experience you and others have shared with me. Who could complain about that? Glad to see your smiley face. Now my face smiles, too. |

That's the whole secret to this site and that's being great information and fun too. Personal is not the fun part and as it is the way with e-mails, one cannot get the sense and tone of which the poster is conveying. That's why we need to rein in our reactions and use restraint in our answers. Some I like to spar with-- like Gerald. My husband is a Gerald so I see them alike--sparing partners. Hey Gerald |

Marianne, Our HOA gov. docs can be soooo confusing. On top of that add all the state statutes and Fed. laws; in this case the HUD regs, and you've got a major Excedrin headache! Just glad to hear we were able to help you. We aim to please! LOL |

Marianne, I am glad that what I said helped. I am a firm believer in the power of debate. I also realize that most of the time a person will not change position while the debate rages on. But I will say that my thoughts have changed over the years as a result of people that I have debated with. |
