One of our board members has resigned from the board due to her husband's health. Our documents state that the BOD appoints a replacement to fulfill her term. (This will be until next May or so.)
I am curious to hear suggestions on finding a person to fulfill her term. I feel somewhat at a loss because while I can think of some people, the truth be known I don't think the four remaining people, I don't feel we know a very large cross section of the membership (311 houses). My first thought though is to reach out to an individual who the manager talked into not running so he could instead be on the ARC. (I don't agree with her thoughts on this.) Another idea that comes to mind is the person who ran but wasn't elected.
