Any informatoon on the new statues that will be taken affect July1,2008? Are they a big change ? Good or Bad? LaVerne Fl

Hi Laverne, Four new bills will affect FS720: HB 1378 HB 1105 SB 1986......these were all signed by the Governor and become law. HB 679...must be signed by July 3rd OR he can veto it OR let it become law without signing. July 3rd is the ACTION DATE. If you can't find out were to view these let me know.......Jim

my understanding is the entire package of new regulations was fought by the speaker of the house and nothing was passed.. it will not be brought up until they are in session again... and the session only lasts 3 months..

Hi Laverne, Are you having any luck with the list I gave in my second post. I check this daily because the time is running out on the Gov. and I want to be able to give the BOD timely info. I did miss one bill....sorry....it's HB 601 pertaining to insurance appraisals /estopple certificates. This one also has a July 3rd deadline. Anyone having difficulty accessing the web site I listed? As soon as I get the final list that will affect 720 I will post it. Jim
