Our termite company (Terminix) has recommended that a majority of our buildings be tented for termite control. Our association has some 90 buildings and they are 30 years old. The association is proposing to folow the tenting recommendation.

I am not convinced that tenting is the way to go and would prefer local treatment (which in the case of my unit seems to be working well). I would be interested in hearing of the experience of other associations on this problem and of any independent studies on the pros and cons of tenting buildings for termites.
