This is an update from my post on 6/3/08 regarding the rude ARB member and the porch. Happy to report that the most rude man has been removed. One other could go, but glad the rudest one is out. The porch will proceed, but the homeowner has decided to put the shingled roof on according to the CCR's. If this homeowner had not persued this by asking Board Members to attend a second meeting to view for themselves how the ARB met with residents this man would still be sitting there insulting the very residents he should be helping. This homeowner stated it was worth the extra money the shingled roof is going to cost to have this man GONE. The message is, residents do have the ability to get things done and should persue matters that they don't agree with. He didn't get the CCR's changed, but he got the board to recognize they need to be careful who they assign to deal with residents.

Diane:

Glad to see it worked out...another great example that boards need to keep their committees in check. A Board member should always be a part either active or passively of any committee in my opinion.
