BUYER BEWARE! Idaho Condo statutes created in the 60's have little or no updating to address current demographics. No stipulations regarding Reserve Funds and Board Members can easily elect themselves using proxies and cumulative voting. In my "self managed' Association of 20 units and 3 board members, all three board members live in other states for 9 months of the year as do 75% of the owners. Board Members are not required to submit a resume or qualifications or state their intentions prior to the annual meeting. Talk about a disaster!
