In the Atlanta, GA metro area what should a community pay for:

Accounting Only Services?

Property Management Services?

Full Service?

Jeff, the best way for you to determine price is to prepare a RFP listing each specific service desired and get at least three bids from good MCs. Cost depends on a number of factors including number of units, exactly what services are desired, and the profit margin desired by the MC.

Jeff - One question you need to ask prospective management companies is: Do you own or sleep with a landscaping company, plumbing company, or other HOA contractors, and do you expect us to use your companies as contractors, and if we don't, is your monthly fee higher because we aren't using your high priced contractors? Whew! I think you get the idea. Harold

Thanks for the information. I'm acutally trying to start my own Management company. One of the things I'm having a hard time with is what is currently going on in the market today with pricing.
