Dear Home Owner Association Leader,

We are contacting you on behalf of Surface Water Management, which is a division of Pubic Works, of Snohomish County.

Our division strives to maintain contact information for homeowner associations, to ensure that these groups in Snohomish County have access to the most current services available. Surface Water Management provides technical assistance in helping to maintain storm water facilities as well as other services addressing drainage problems, water quality, native growth protection areas, invasive weed control, and other challenges home owners and their associations frequently face.

However, our current listing of homeowner association contacts is out of date, so we are searching for active associations and asking them to contact us with their current contact information. The information we are hoping you will be able to provide us with is the name, address, phone number, and e-mail address for your president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, or most active member.

This information will help Surface Water Management to ensure that all the associations in Snohomish County have equal access to the most current services available. We would like to contact your association from time to time to learn what challenges you are facing and to keep you informed about opportunities for services, grant funding partnerships, technical assistance, and education programs. Some opportunities are open to individual members to help them with their own lots, as well as to associations responsible for community properties such as native growth protection areas (NGPAs), tracts containing detention ponds, and other open space. Many of these services are available at little or no cost to the home owner association.

Any information we receive will be greatly appreciated, and its privacy respected. Thank you for your assistance. We look forward to hearing from you.

I just happened to come across this article. It looks as though no one has ever written anything since this article was written in 2004.It is now December of 2009. I am the treasurer of a Homeowners Association in Marysville. We have had many issues with water in our park area and have never been able to resolve the issues since 1984 when the development was established. Is this article still being monitored? Please respond to L. Lindmark, V.G. Association of Owners Located on the North side of 100th Street between 52nd Dr NE and 54th Dr NE, Marysville, WA.

Megan,

What are you interested in from us? This letter is Washington State and is doing the same as almost all other States in regards to surface water management. Do you have a question or other problem?

Donna,

I'm sure you didn't notice, but the OP's msg is over 4 years old! Don't know why Lonna didn't just contact Megan -- she left her phone nr.
