Does the board need a majority or a 100% vote on raising HOA dues?

It would depend on what your documents state. Our Board only needs a 2/3 vote in order to raise dues (we have 5 members). I would guess that you would need something similar. It is not often everyone can agree on anything on a Board!

Thank you Lisa I just found out that our board only needs the majority of the vote during a meeting even if only four people show up to the meeting. And I guess if the vote doesn't meet the majority all the board can vote on is to raise the Homeowners assosiation Dues 15%.

I believe you should bring the CPI into play-perhaps this would be of interest to all members.
