I recently moved into a new development and I purchased a homesite that over looks the golf course. I paid a premium price for the view. At purchase time there was no trees on the bank( my common area) obstructing my view of the golf course. Can the HOA's maintenance company plan trees blocking my view without my permission?

I live in So. California

thanks

John the HOA Board can have trees planted in the common area. They should approve where trees are planted, not the management company. You can voice your concerns to your Board and the MC.

My experience with this sort of situation is the choice for the trees, if and when a tree is chosen, is for them to be a low-growing species so as not to block the view of the golf course. This experience has been with HOA in CA and AZ.
