Ok this question is kind of odd but I can't find any info about it anywhere. So here I go. I am Board President of a Condo HOA in Washington State. We have had problems caused by a departing management and numerous departed board members. We've been unable to answer latest question raised by an owner. So here is the question " Will Mr.X's internet service that requires modifactions and deliveried to his unit effect our Non-Profit status?" Our "House Rules" do not allow business to operate within any units that generate customers or deliveries.
Keep in mind Mr. X is a former board member and has no written/verbal authorations documenting the approval of any work. Can a business operating from inside an Non-Profit location effect the Non-Profits status? Thanks!

NO, has nothing to do with your non-profit status.

When your organization filed for non-profit status in WA State (or federally) you did not have to detail out the occupations or businesses of your members; completely not related.
