Ok heres the situation,
We have owned this condo for five months. Rented it to my daughter.
The dryer had very long drying cycles. checked hoses and dryer, no problem there. Wanted to check the outside exhaust vent myself however, there were 4 other vent ports on the outside of the building. Called the management company to find out which was our dryer vent. Instead of calling me back with the info, they cleaned it out without advising me. I challenged this and was very agressively and arragantly told to pay the bill. I offered to settle and pay one-half as there was no work order signed by me. No Deal!!! Pay the whole bill or get a lien on your property! Is there any recourse here? As a side note, the obstruction was a birds nest that had been there prior to me purchasing the condo -from the same people who manage the property and are now telling me to pay for its removal. I really do not want to submit to the threats.
