Craig,
I am in the stewartsville area what area are you in? As far as local lawyers i also have yet to find one and the cai`s are all on the other side of richmond. The one lawyer i have tried to contact is the one who was handeling the property owners in shawsville over the railroads quest the only other i have found is located at wintergreen who has done alot of work around the lake, wintergreen and lake sounds expensive! I do think it may benefit us both to share what we can, contact me at vabrtc@verizon.net and maybe we can find a way to deal with our questions and issues in a more efficent manner cost and communication wise.

Mary, yes i attended a poava seminar sponsored by the state dpor in 2006 year and missed the 2007mtg. It was very enlightening but my BOD choose not to join the poava. We (I) have not been able to find a local atty that professes to be knowledgble of VA POA code. In fact one atty thinks we are not a legal POA due to a technicality. We will find out soon as i had to place some liens this year and am sending out the 60 day notice of foreclosure and expect that will force a fact finding legal journey.
