The financial report prepared by the Managment company is detailed which is all wwell and good. But would like ALSO to have a one-page spread sheet of money taken in/expenditures/etc but all in one page. Does anyone have such a spread sheet that I can get an idea from?

Alex, your management company should be able to generate what you want. Simply tell them you want a P/L by category - not itemized. Also a Balance Sheet. They should be able to do this on two pages, max.

Alex, we use a form we specifically created in Peachtree. I believe in a one page Balance Sheet, a one page Income Statement, and other accounting reports of varying length each month. You may want to invest in accounting software to create proper accounting reports rather than using a simple spread sheet. Attached is a simple spread sheet which may help fit your needs.

The income statement which was provided contains an error (oversite) on Ln21
Landscape-maintenance Budget $6,000.
It is not spread anywhere by month on the Statement of Income!!
Totals by month are wrong until such time as the condition is corrected.

Thanks Leo, I apologize for posting an example without checking the chart. The attached example was adjusted and provides example of how a spread sheet can be used to provide most of the info available on an Income Statement and a Balance Sheet. But, I do not recommend only using a spread sheet. We use a spead sheet to update budgeted numbers to actual numbers monthly; it provides financial monitoring on one sheet of paper.
