Try caionline.org. They have a directory of certified professionals. It's a place to start.

Kevin,

We were in the same situation a little while ago.
caionline is a great start. also do a google search for property/HOA managment in your county or city.
Ask other HOA around you who they use, are they satisfied etc.
The local chamber of commerce will also have some information, usually on the larger managment companies.

Check out HOA websites, they should list the managment co in the public section. Finally try this site, regenesis.net and homeownersassoc.com and ahrc.com (American Home Owners resources)

This should give you a workable list to start choosing from.

We interviewed by phone and a queustion list and then made our short list.

Good luck

You may want to try Fairfield Properties located in Commack. Besides owning residential and commercial property all over LI they also have a branch that handles property management. If they are not willing to take it on, maybe they can suggest someone local that will.
