Anyone have any good information on SC changing some of their civil courts to require Mediation before appearance of Judge.
Beaufort County Circuit court is apparently going to adopt this requirement, but is still in planning stages.

Could be a great help in resolving HOA conflicts. I HOPE.

Not from SC, but just curious: I assume that mediation would not be binding since you state it will be required before going in front of a judge.
I am not in favor of binding mediation. It goes against the whole concept of our court appeals system to allow a low level, not necessarily trained or knowledgeable individual to declare a binding decision. Harold
