I'm pleased to announce that HOATalk reached 10,000 members this month when BretJ from Georgia registered.

HOATalk began in July 2005 with the idea to provide a positive place for our community association leaders to meet, discuss and learn. With your help we have achieved that goal.

Here's some interesting stats:

- We have 30,581 messages spread across 3,628 topics

- So far in 2007, we've added 5,127 new members

- Our most viewed topics of all time are:
"Your Monthly dues..... how much do you pay?? "
"Is it legal for the HOA to post members that are delinquent on their dues on a public web-site?"
"How can I make certain we meet quorum?"
"Cats on Leashes"

IT'S GRATIFYING TO SEE SO MANY PEOPLE COME TOGETHER TO HELP OTHERS. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND PARTICIPATION.

Happy Holidays,

Hoatalk,
Linda....sounds good to me and it really is a gift for the Holidays (all of them no matter when they are celebrated) Like all good things, you take away as much as you give. I'm not quite sure how this site can discuss and pick apart the very same things that assocciations can't even talk about without fighting, some one is doing something right, keep it up.
I, like I hope all of you, don't expect prefection as long as we can tell each other something we don't know.

HOA Talk is such a great forum!!! As long as we all stay respectful of one another, it's a wealth of information. We're all in the "same boat" so to speak. To all my fellow informative, concerned, helpful, resourceful, caring posters I extend a HUGE thank you. I wish you all a peaceful, happy holiday season.

Let me add my congratulations for a job well done. I've been on numerous discussion boards about community associations, but most have disintegrated when taken over by people who are more interested in insulting someone than in helping. Your monitoring helps keep this board on the right track - to provide the assistance that many need.

Keep up the good work!

Now if we can just sort out all of the "Joe's"......

Joe
