Our HOA currently sets a palette of 34 colors based on the colors originally chosen by the builder in our community of 7 years. Although the colors were updated just a year ago by the ARC, half of the color choices are already "out of date" and the homeowner (and the HOA) cannot obtain paint chips any longer for matching.

For those HOA's who restrict colors, I would appreciate any feedback on how you stay current with colors - do you update yearly? Do you allow shading of certain colors? How does your ARC handle the process?

Any information would be appreciated and thanks!
