I live in a condo association and am on the board. We have a tenant that is trying to tell us that in the state of Florida that our truck rules and regulations are superceded by that of the county laws. The HOA docs state that no trucks are permitted to be parked in the neighborhood overnight and no owners or tenants can park a truck permanently. Without involving the lawyers, is what he is saying true? Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks

Adrian, what does the County ordinance state? I doubt that they say that trucks can be parked within an association.

That is what I was thinking. I need to do some more research within the county. This forum was one of my first stops. Thank you

Adrian there was an article published by the Sun Sentinel 9/5/07. You can find it on HOA Talk news. "Rulings on pickups won't wipe out bans by condo associations."

AdrianB: Check it out with your local municipality for their rules.
