We are new HOA with about 200 homes and within the last year have elected our own BOD from community homeowners. The Management company still attends our meetings and has two reprensentives and appears to run the meetings. Do we have to envite the Management company to the meetings and can we suggest how many of them attends? This has been a concern with many members.

In our association our contract with the management company states they will attend the meetings. We pay extra for this. I don't believe there is any law that implies we have to have the management company there. It is strictly the choice of the Board and what they have agreed to with the management company.
