We currently have 2 committees that only board members have volunteered to server on. Each has 3 out of the 5 BOD. Both committees have different BOD members except for 1 who serves on both. We are hoping to get more community volunteers. Is it considered an Executive session when we currently meet?
Thanks

No. An executive session is held during a board meeting to conduct legal issues and personal business for which the details are not recorded in the minutes. I know of no business of a committee which would require an executive session. A committee meeting is not a Board meeting.

This assumes these are just committee meetings and are not conducting business which should be done at a board meeting.
