For those of you who have questions about governing a HOA go to the web and dial up-- leg.state.nv.us/NRS ---- this will put you into the state statutes. Go to the table of contents and scroll to NRS116 and click. This is a good source for your CC&R's, Bylaw's and Rules & Regs. Of course this only applies to the state of Nevada but it is a starting point if you don't have anything or if you want to revise documents.l

Have fun

Nevada has a couple of different resources...

NRS 116 is for Homeowner Associations or Common-Interest Communities
NRS 116a is for HOA Managers - or CAMs Community Association Managers
NRS 116b is for Condo/Hotels

NAC 116 et al - Is the Nevada Administrative Code that address many issues that are only touched upon in NRS

Additionally, most HOAs have been incorporated under NRS 82 Corporate Structures

And when dealing with towing, here in Nevada you need to go to NRS 487

Also consider going to the Real Estate Division's website http://www.red.state.nv.us/ to check out information from the Commission on Common-Interest Communities and Condo Hotels, including meeting minutes, advisory opinions and results of ALJ hearings.

For most of the current state laws:

Bear in mind that states change their web sites more often the teenagers on myspace, so some of the links may be outdated. Let me know if you run into any.
