I am in a new community of 130 sold homes out of a planned 349 home gated development in N.J. I’m one of 2 resident board members (elected), the other 3 slots are held by the sponsor / builder. I am also on the Architectural Review Committee. A company selected by builder is managing the clubhouse & pool.
For starters, I would love to talk with people who have: Transition Experience; A good set of committee by-laws (ARC MOD would be ideal); Knowledge of builder common or best practices in deficit financing of the HOA.
