Our 11-yr. old HOA is beginning the process of amending our CC&Rs & Bylaws for the first time. I'm the Board Liaison to our HOA attorney on this project.

Our CC&Rs refer to our rules and regulations, also a governing document, as the "Project Handbook." We (the Board) would like to the change the title to better reflect what's in it.

Along with our rules & regs, it contains our fine schedule and also a lot of useful forms for residents, e.g., a form to reserve our Community Room.

We're thinking of changing the name to Community Handbook.

Any other ideas?

Carol...if it has rules and regs that have to be followed I would look at a more official name such as Community Regulations. Community Handbook lends me to believe it is a guide to livign in the community, not a set of rules I have to follow.

Than you very much, Brad. You make a very good point that we hadn't thought of! Needless to say, our board has much larger topics to deal with in our forthcoming proposed amendments.
