Hello All,

Good news. Our "special meeting" and our recall election was tonight.

Our president was voted off the island. Her emails telling the select few that she did have enough votes to "block" a recall was NOT completely correct. 50% of our community voted.. 40% of those votes asked for a RECALL!!

SO, word to the wise. Do not be intimidated by a select few, untruths or emails from a former President. She was not gracious and I suppose the transition may not be an easy one.

Now, when it comes up for our annual election we must remember we voted this one out already an must not entertain the thought of her being re-elected. You bet your sweet selves I will be holding onto our petition... and ready to do it again if need be.

We won, she is gone. thank you all for your help.. I am so appreciative of your support and advice.

Outstanding story on how members can make a difference.

Since the individual wasn't gracious upon hearing the vote, I do hope they cool off and hand over any materials that belong to the Association smoothly.

So who is going to take over now? You have someone in charge in the interim? Who is going to run for the position at the next election? Just curious as voting out people on your board/office kind of limits the pool of volunteers willing to do the job...

In our Association there are few who are able that want to be on the Board. Many of our owners are in there 80s and 90s and not physically able. I hope you get a good replacement.

I would rather have an empty chair then someone who is selfish, manipulative, etc., etc. Who will step up I presume will sort itself out now that she is gone. Sometimes you have to walk before you can run.

The good news is... that our Madame President does not really have alot in the way of material or records. Our PM had that covered Only issue, she has access to our webpage and still has email access to all members. But that is easy enough to shut down if she will not hand over the password.

Our HOA BOD is fine without her. We are left with enough people on board that we still have quarum. If there is a walk off of the board due to our vote and friends etc there are a couple of homeowners one previous BOD who stated they'd step up to the plate.

For the love of all that is good, I just hope this witchipoo will not run again.. people better recall she was removed.
