I am a new poster here and do not know the subject Matter experts. Can someone contact the Texas HOA Guru and have him take a few minutes to answer some of my questions

There aren't really any subject matter experts. Obviously, those who live in one State will typically have more experience on that State. However, everyone does try to help or offer advice as they can.

As with any advice, you are free to use all, some or none of it.

I personally like the advice that includes references to Statutes and/or governing documents.

With this being a holiday weekend, it might take a few days for people to check the site.

BTW, Welcome to the site. Hopefully we can be of assistance to you and you can be of assistance to others.
