Came home after a few days away. Our painters that have been hired to do our entire building have been through on our end of the building. We have noticed... all the peeling paint has just been painted over, no sanding or prepping.. just slapping on paint...

Emailing the HOA and PM is about all I can do. This vendor was selected by our current HOA and have had loads of complaints about issues, including damaged flooring by water intruding under doors whiles power washing..

Really, our building is about 1/4 the way though.. Has this happened to other HOA"s

Who is the head of this committee overseeing the job?

Tell that person to come and inspect the job as it is being done.

(Perhaps the job bid did not include surface prep.)

You and your neighbors should be photographing all the poor quality work, the buckled floors, everything. Go to your next board meeting as ask just what the scope of the work was and be prepared to show the board your photos. You are paying for this job and if the board and PM don't have any standards for workmanship the unit owners will have to step up
