Hi,

If a homeowner is being asked to attend an executive session, how much notice needs to be given to the homeowner?

Thank you,
Kay

If it isn't spelled out in your documents then i would follow the meeting notice requirements for your regular board meetings or annual meeting

Is this a disciplinary "hearing"? then the "notice" of that particular kind of hearing should be found in your bylaws.

If this is just an invitation to give input into a discussion at an ES, then you may have the same notice as given regular board meetings, since the motion to go into ES is made at a regular board meeting.

If the board meeting dates are announced as "regularly held on the second Tuesday of the month" you many not have been give much notice at all.
