Removing Board Member for Condos in California

We (Membership) had successfully schedule a special meeting to Recall Directors in next 2 weeks. The meeting recall director can week then submit a petition to remove those BOD and can those BOD remove immediately. or all membership have to vote them out again? if membership sign it form request removal of the directly must be attending to the meeting as well or just one person represent whole group can be attended. I'm sorry but California Corporation Law are too complicated. We (membership) would like properway so that will elimated our legal cost and legal action by BOD later.
