president says move if not happy.you can not talk to her in a normal way.scream and yells most of the time. tenants are not getting fair treatmen they deserve. moore interested in maintaing building than helping tenants.tenants are the building. desperate for sound advise. HELP PLEASE.

Pres is not tactful, but may be right. The residents are not the building. They are not even the Association unless you mean the whole body of members collectively.

Is the kind of help you would like to see from the Pres refer to individual residents or units? Does that match what your documents say? Respect the mission as it spelled out. If it NEEDS to be changed, change it.

NO RESIDENT will love you no matter how much personal attention you gave them if the authorities slam you with hugely expensive infrastructure update or condemn your elevators or the whole building. How old is the building? Is it up to Code?

Get the real facts on where time and money needs to go and why. Some day, nice-guy help could put your residents on the street! Find a "press secretary" to put a friendlier spin on things, but the building DOES come first. It is serious business essentually running other people's homes. Make real sure any new Pres knows the score before they start trying to please everybody, one at a time.
