How d I find the state laws that apply to our HOA?

At the top of that page is a drop-down box for states.

You should be able to find what you need there.

Here's another list: http://communitiesonline.org/laws/ Many states still only have laws specific to condominiums that won't apply to single family HOA homes. Harold

This site: http://www.michie.com/resources1.html or look up Lexis Law Links

has Organazations codes and regulations and state codes. I"M in Tennessee and I printed out the Non profit Corporations Guides, Tennessee Department of State Divisino of Business Services. These are required Guidlines that Organazations must follow, even HOA! Depending on the state, you can file at the Attorney General office for violations of codes.
